I went to Yosemite for the first time over Labor Day weekend. It lived up to the hype and I had a great time!

We stayed in White Wolf, just a little north of the Yosemite valley but we dropped into the valley on Sunday.

We spent some time walking along the river, through the valley floor.

Then we walked up halfway to Vernal Falls:

The next day we hiked to Lukens Lake, near White Wolf. It was a few thousand feet higher than the valley and the biome was totally different.

It was a great trip and I hope to get back to Yosemite before too long!
